Personalized Online Tutoring for Elementary Students

The early years of school are pivotal to building a child’s confidence, foundational literacy and numeracy skills and, most importantly, developing their love of learning!

Learning can be challenging and your child may feel discouraged when they don’t understand something or if they make a mistake.

Our elementary tutors will create a plan, with your child’s specific learning needs and experiences in mind.

What are your tutors’ qualifications to teach elementary students?

Our elementary tutors are teachers with qualifications from kindergarten to grade 8. They have an extensive understanding of the curriculum and know how to teach different learners.

The teachers we have on our roster are also creative geniuses and love teaching. They will connect with your child and align the sessions to their interests.

We’ve seen some pretty fun sessions - from using video games to teach a math lesson, a child’s love of theatre to help a student with their writing skills, to building robots to teach about perimeter and area, and the list goes on!

“Before finding your services, my daughter was so discouraged and hated school. But thanks to the teacher you matched with her, who cleverly used her love of basketball and theatre in their math and language lessons, she not only looks forward to their sessions but is thriving in class! She's more confident and even says Math is her favourite subject now.”

“Kath was wonderful at giving [my daughter] confidence to just try and embrace this as part of her learning. I know in class the fear of being wrong or embarrassed by lack of understanding can hold her back from asking questions. [My daughter] is going through EQAO now and she noted that Kath’s tips really helped her with language components.”

“We’d like to discontinue Keira’s tutoring sessions for now. It’s been so helpful, but she’s feeling pretty good with math at this point. If she needs support again, we definitely like to resume with Tina-Marie.”
